Regenergy Gällivare is a project being developed in collaboration with Gällivare Energi and Gällivare municipality, using waste heat from Hybrit’s green steel production. The project is still in the design phase, but early calculations indicate that it may become significantly larger in scope than Regenergy Frövi. Details on which type of applications – vegetables, fish, shrimp, biofuel etc – are still being evaluated. Discussions are also on-going with local stake holders on the most suitable location for the Regenergy facility.
